The poachers pocket it is a family run hotel located on the A38 on the devon and somerset border with good transport links from J26 and J27 of the M5 and parkway railway station. The poachers pocket is a quaint 17th century coaching inn with extensive views accross the rolling blackdown hills. Our comfortable rooms have all been tastefully designed to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. We have a popular restaurant and pride ourselves on serving traditional home cooked fayre. From M5 J27 - Follow the A38 signposted Wellington. Continue for 3 miles past the crossroads signposted Burlescombe / Culmstock and we are located 0.5 of a mile further towards Wellington on the right hand side From M5 J26 - Take 3rd exit on the motorway roundabout towards Wellington. Continue for 0.5 of a mile to the next roundabout Take the first exit and go straight across the next roundabout and continue for approximately 4 miles to the next roundabout. Take the first exit onto the A38 signposted Cullompton and continue for 3 miles and you will see the Poachers Pocket clearly signposted on the left hand side of the road.
