Hilbre is a bright comfortable and spacious home in a wonderful location with amazing and far-reaching views. Located within easy travelling distance of the main shopping centres of Chester and Liverpool and the tourist areas of the Welsh Coast and the Snowdonia National Park it offers visitors a relaxing and luxurious stay in tranquil surroundings. The rooms are spacious and designed with luxurious comfort in mind. Some of the rooms have television sets and some have settees on which to sit and read or relax in comfort. All rooms have complimentary bottled water tea and coffee making facilities. All en-suites have shaver points and designer toiletries. There are many walks in the area and cycling is a very popular local activity. Hilbre sits on a cycle path and is approximately 1 mile from the North Wales Coastal Path. Guests are very welcome to sit in the grounds and enjoy the views. We have our own chickens which are allowed to roam freely in the grounds and the local fields. We tend not to let them out of their run until after guests have left in the morning but they will probably still be roaming around during the evening. We also serve our own eggs at breakfast. From A55: - Come off the A55 at Junction 31 signposted Prestatyn/Caerwys. Follow the signs for A5151 towards Prestatyn. After approx. 2 miles just after passing Jackson s Garden Centre and a Texaco garage on the left turn right towards Llanasa. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles into Llanasa village. Continue on the road through the village and Hilbre will be found on the right at the top of a hill about 1 mile from the village of Llanasa. Sat nav post code - CH89LT. From the Coast Road A548. If coming from the direction of Deeside Flint continue along A548 towards Prestatyn. Pass through the areas of Greenfield Llanerch-y-mor Mostyn Docks Fyynnongroyw and Tan Lan. In Tan Lan turn left towards Tree Tops Caravan Park. Follow the road up the hill to the T-junction then turn left. Continue up the hill and Hilbre will be seen on the brow of the hill on the left.
