The Edgcumbe is great beachside accommodation run by a young (ish!) and friendly family. The Edgcumbe is tastefully furnished in a Boutique Seaside Chic style to a high standard with a relaxed cafe style bar area with sofas and arm chairs and wonderful south facing conservatory with a contemporary style and a outdoor patio area. All great places to enjoy a tasty local beverage! We have little table top quizzes dotted around and an array of books and board games. br / br / br / br / We have a drying room for wet suites and storage for Surfboards and bikes. We also have quite a collection of beach bits so if you need chairs windbreaks boogyboard or buckets and spade just ask! br / br / br / br / With panoramic views over Summerleaze Beach Hills & Downs of the coast path and the river Neet we are an ideal base to discover Bude and indeed North Cornwall. Surrounded by beautiful sandy surf beaches like Summerleaze and Crocklets The Edgcumbe really is in an exceptional location. br / br / br / br / Bude is a small coastal town providing local produce and wares. The town has many essential modern amenities and popular surf shops but has managed to remain a peaceful and charming historic seaside town. br / br / br / br / We are a No-Smoking property. Regrettably we cannot accept pets except guide dogs. (Although if you wish you can walk our Springer Hector the Hound!) Directions to the edgcumbe Bude

The Town - Road: Heading up the one way system up the main high street you will reach the Post Office at the top continue to drive ahead and take the first left immedaitly after the Post Office look out for the brown tourist sign on a post signed Beach Hotels and turn LEFT immediately after this then turn right. This is a dead end road and we are just past the turning circle on the left. (SAT NAV seems to take people to the road behind us !)
