The Old Post Office is a public house and guest house located on the edge of the Historic textile town of Halifax and was the original Post Office serving the town dating back to 1790. It comprises of a Free House serving a wide variety of Cask Conditioned Real Ales and a wide range of lagers. The Guest House has recently been fully redeveloped to modern standards and offers single double twin and disabled accomodation furnished to a high standard. We have en-suite with tea and coffee making facilities Digital Freeview TV/DVD and wi-fi internet access available. We also have single bed rooms which are basic (No TV/DVD) and there is a communal bathroom and kitchen for the use of single room users. br / br / br / br / The Old Post Office is situated on the Eastern side of the Town and is centrally located 2 minutes walk from the Town Centre and very close to the Train Station and Bus Terminal. Directions to The Old Post Office Halifax

Halifax Train Station - Train: Turn right out of the train station entrance and we are situated 500 yards along on the right hand side br/ br/ M62 - Road: From Junction 24 follow signs for Halifax (A629). As you are coming into the centre take the right fork towards Halifax Train Station. Keep straight ahead with the train station on the right and we are situated 500 yards further along on the right hand side. Parking is to the rear br/ br/ Leeds - Road: Take the M62 towards Manchester and leave at Junction 26. Follow the signs for A58 (Halifax). Then follow signs for Train Station and the Old Post Office is on the left hand side opposite the car park entrance for Marks & Spencers
