Culzean Castle owned by the National Trust for Scotland is only a 20 minute drive down the beautiful Ayrshire countryside. br / br / br / br / Ayr Town & the surrounding countryside has so much to offer so why not stop over for a few days there is plenty to do and see for all ages. Directions to Craigie Guest House Ayr

Glasgow - Road: From Glasgow and the North: Follow the M77 South onto the A77 and continue south. At the 1st roundabout for Ayr take the 3rd exit onto the A719. This continues into Whitletts Road. Continue straight ahead past the traffic lights at Tesco and you will pass the main entrance for the Ayr Racecourse. Prepare to turn left at the next set of traffic lights into Craigie Road. As you turn left you will pass the Western House Hotel immediately on your left hand side and Craigie Guest br/ br/ Prestwick Airport - Road: ENGLAND & South - From the M6 continue onto the M74 and exit at junction 12 for Douglas and Ayr (40 miles). Follow the A70 To Ayr. At the A77 roundabout on the outskirts of Ayr take the 3rd exit onto the A77 Road. At the 1st roundabout take the 1st exit into Whitletts Road (Signposted A719). Continue straight ahead past the traffic lights at Tesco and you will pass the main entrance for the Ayr Racecourse. Prepare to turn left at the next set of traffic lights into Craigie Road. br/ br/ Glasgow - Train: The train service from Glasgow and Prestwick Airport to Ayr is very regular and links with the train service south of Ayr to the ferry at Stranraer. Craigie Guest House is only a 10 minute walk from the station or there are nearly always taxis available at the Station : If Walking: Exit the Station and turn left. Walk over the railway bridge and stay on the same pavement. Continue walking past 2 roundabouts (they are close together). Continue straight ahead.
