There are numerous well known golf courses within a short drive together with an endless list of mouth wateringly good restaurants and pubs! br / br / br / br / Cairnie Cottage is located a third of a mile due east of Colinsburgh three miles north of Elie and about 10 miles south of St Andrews. br / br / br / br / The accommodation has an enviable wind-sheltered position that faces south basking in sun and with views of East Lothian across the Firth of Forth. Directions to Cairnie Cottage Bed and Breakfast Leven

The West: Colinsburgh - Road: Drive east through Colinsburgh past the petrol station along an open stretch of road for about 500 yards at the end of which is a double bend and the road slopes downhill through trees. Before the trees you pass stone gate posts marking the drive to Cairnie on your right. Do not take this. Another 50 yards on there is gap in the wall on the right. Slow down! You need to take this turn. Pass the first house on the right and continue along the gravel drive through drive gate posts. br/ br/ The East: Anstruther - Road: Drive west along A 917. Less than a quarter of a mile out of Pittenweem take the B942 on your right signed to Leven. After just over 3 miles you come to a cross roads with the B941: left and south to Elie and right and north to Cupar and St Andrews. At the cross roads there is a cottage on the road on your left and immediately past the cottage there is a gap in the wall. turn left through the gap. Pass the first house on the right and through gates. You have arrived! br/ br/ The North: Largoward - Road: Take the B941 south from Largoward for about 3 miles and until you come to the cross roads with the B942. At the cross roads turn right. There is a cottage immediately on the road on your left and at the end of which there is a gap in the wall. Turn left through the gap. Pass the first house on the right and continue along the gravel drive through drive gate posts. You have arrived!
