Set in its own garden grounds with a large private car park the house is a lovely example of a Highland Victorian Villa. It retains many period features and has been sympathetically refurbished and creates a peaceful and tranquil setting where you can relax in comfort. The town is accessed adjacent to the A9 road approximately 70miles north of Perth and 43 miles south of Inverness. Kingussie has much to offer the outdoor enthusiast with activities such as climbing rambling pony trekking and skiing in the winter months as well as a challenging 18-hole hillside golf course. The area is also popular with wildlife watchers and those interested in places of historic interest. br / br / br / br / There are five en-suite bedrooms including a ground floor Family Suite with a double bed & 2 single beds(1 in annex room )suitable for assisted wheelchair access (one step at front door) a King-size Bedroom a Bedroom with double bed & single bed a Double Bedroom & a Twin room all with showers. The comfortable rooms are decorated to a high standard with FreeSat T.V. Wi-Fi hair drier tea and coffee making facilities alarm clock complimentary toileteries and fluffy white towels. br / br / Guests are welcome to come and go as they please during the day. br / br / br / br / We pride ourselves on caring for our Guests. A full Scottish Breakfast is offered together with Fresh Fruit Yoghurts Porridge and Cereals or a Continental Breakfast as a lighter option and we will endeavour to cater for special diets with a little notice. Breakfast is served between 7.30 -9.00 but earlier breakfasts are available on request.There are many excellent cafes and restaurants in Kingussie as well as in nearby Aviemore

Directions to Arden House Kingussie

Perth - Road: Arden Guest House and the Cairngorm National Park are easily reached by road rail and air. ROAD Travelling north from Perth on the scenic A9 towards Inverness take the 1st exit for Kingussie via Newtonmore and you can find us on the left hand side of the main road at the start of Kingussie . br/ br/ Perth - Train: RAIL Kingussie Railway Station is on the main Kings Cross to Inverness line and has direct lines to Inverness Glasgow and Edinburgh . Arden Guest House is approximately 100yards from the station . Turn left out of the station carpark and we are at the top of the road on the left hand side of the main road. br/ br/ Inverness - Air: AIR Inverness Airport is a one hour drive from Kingussie. Car hire is available at the airport and a half hourly bus service operates between the airport and Inverness city centre. br/ br/ Perth - Bus: Buses There are frequent daily services from Glasgow Edinburgh and Dundee via Perth. The bus stop is literally next to our Guest House .
