The coast and Snowdonia National park are only one hour away. Outdoor activities for the adventurous and for the golfer there are a number of challenging and beautiful courses. The area is very popular with cyclists. Bird-watchers will be spoilt for choice of locations.

Directions to The Vine House Welshpool

Welshpool Town Centre - Road: Head for the Welshpool Steam Railway (which is next to a roundabout). Take the second roundabout exit marked Guilsfield . After two miles turn right into Guilsfield and head for the Church (the spire is clearly seen). Enter Church Lane which runs down the left hand side of the Church and turn left into Oak Lane. We are then 50 metres on the right. If travelling via Oswestry you do not need to travel into Welshpool but should turn right into Arddleen and approach Guilsfield that way. br/ br/ Welshpool Train Station - Train: We are very happy to collect you from and return you to the station if pre-arranged. br/ br/ Offa s Dyke - Road: We are very happy to collect you from the Trail (Buttington Bridge or Pool Quay) and return you if pre-arranged.
