Set on our working family farm in rolling Northumbrian countryside West Longridge is centrally located for a host of activities just 4-miles west of the historic market town of Berwick-Upon-Tweed. Berwick has pubs and restaurants as well as a sports centre with swimming pool and arts centre. The long sandy Northumbrian beaches such as Cockerlawburn and Bamburgh are only a few miles away. br / br / br / br / There are a large number of country houses nearby which are open to the public including Paxton House and Manderston Floors Castle at Kelso and Alnwick Castle (the location for the Harry Potter movies). All of these make interesting day-trips. br / br / br / br / Berwick is situated on the Borders of Scotland and England and is famous for its unique Elizabethan walls and the splendid views of the town from Meg s Mount and Brass Bastion. br / br / br / br / Within easy reach are the Cheviots which offer exceptional hill walking the Farne Islands where seals and large numbers of seabirds are resident plus some excellent Scuba diving. Lindsfarne of course is famous for its part in early Christanity in England. From the South - Road: From South - Follow A1 to Berwick-upon-Tweed. 1st roundabout - on outskirts of Berwick take first exit. At Second roundabout take the first exit A698 Cornhill/ Coldstream Road. Go past Longridge Towers the private school and take the 2nd exitleft after the School onto West Longridge Farm the Manor is the 3rd House on the private road. From North - Roundabout on Outskirts of Berwick take 3rd exit Newcastle/ Alnwick at 2nd exit take 4th exit Cornhill/ Coldstream road and follow as above. br/ br/ From A1 North and South and A698 West - Road: Follow A1 to Berwick -upon-Tweed at the main roundabout take A698 Cornhill/ Coldstream Road. Follow the road past Longridge Towers the private School and take the second exit on the left after the school onto West Longridge Farm. The Manor is the third house on private road. Frow West join the A698 at Coldstream go to Cornhill and folow the road in the direction of Berwick. Go past Saluation Pub on the left and the Farm is 2.4miles on the right after the pub and turn off for Norham/ Horncliffe br/ br/ Berwick-upon-Tweed - Train: Join the A1 form Castle Terrace which if behind the railway station by turning left and then left at the mini roundabout on leaving the station and then straight over the next mini roundabout. Take immediate left again and then at T junction turn left joining the A1. At roundabout take A698 Coldstream / Cornhill and after Longridge Towers private school take the 2nd exit on left onto West Longridge Farm. The Manor is the third house on this private road. br/ br/ Berwick-upon-Tweed - Coach: Take Coach to Berwick and then follow A698 to Coldstream/ Cornhill we are second turning on the left after the private School.
