The Tavern Steakhouse and Lodge is under new ownership We have recently re-opened after an extensive refurbishment of our facilities including the creation of a fabulous 40 cover Steakhouse. br / br / br / br / The Tavern Steakhouse and Lodge is a traditional pub situated in the centre of a busy market town. With a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere we serve a wide range of real ales as well as a variety of lagers and ciders. We will be serving food throughout the day as well as evenings.Please note that breakfast is not provided. br / br / br / br / We often host live music events which is enjoyed by a wide variety of locals and tourists throughout the year. br / br / br / br / We have 7 very clean and comfortable letting bedrooms 5 are en-suite and are located on the first and second floors. Rooms 5 and 7 are small but cosy roomswith small windows and share a bathroom across the corridor.. br / br / br / br / We are just 2 minutes away from the bus station and local shops and supermarkets. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and just a short drive to some lovely quiet beaches. br / br / we are also pet friendly br / br / Our team of dedicated staff are very willing to help make your stay a lovely experience.

Alnmouth - Train: Busses run regularly from train station to alnwick we are approximately 5 miles from Alnmouth station br/ br/ Alnwick bus depot - Bus: we are a 30 second walk from the bus depot. leave depot passed bus office turn left then next left onto Fenkle street and 20 yards. br/ br/ Fron the A1 slip to Alnwick town center - Road: Leave at slip road coming from south straight across the first round about pass garage on the right carry on for approx 1/4 mile towards town center straight across at the round about (2nd junction) drive through the arch carry on through town pass through traffic lights another 100 yards after shambles and turn right into Fenkle street we are 3rd building on left. there is parking available on street outside the pub but it is pay and display
