The Ingham Swan has been sympathetically refurbished to ensure the décor naturally compliments the heritage of the building with a careful mix of contemporary touches bringing in a modern twist but blended with the rustic ambiance of the original features. North Norfolk is famous for its long white sandy beaches such as those at Sea Palling Happisburgh and Cromer - the setting for lots of happy family days out. The wide beaches are washed by safe shallow waters and are perfect for sunbathers swimmers and those looking for plenty of space to play. Further along the coast Mundesley is a Blue Flag beach where children can paddle safely in tidal pools and the pebbly beach at Sheringham has also won a Blue Flag award for its cleanliness. As you drive along the North Norfolk coast road you are bound to discover your own favourite beach. The Ingham Swan is only 7 miles from Wroxham and Hoveton St. John are two connected villages split by the River Bure. Most of the village facilities are actually in Hoveton but are generally known as Wroxham - the capital of the Norfolk Broads. The Norfolk Broads have been a popular destination for boating holidays since the Victorians discovered them in the late 19th century. Today s boats are very easy to handle with motor cruisers and yachts from 2-12 berth available to hire for short breaks and longer periods. With over 125 miles (200 km) of lock-free waters to explore as well as the stunning coastline you won t get bored on a boating holiday in Norfolk.
