Colton House is a special place to stay providing a luxury personal service to all its guests in individually designed bedrooms some with original beamed ceilings ornate plasterwork ceilings or cast iron fireplaces. Beds are extremely comfortable and up to 6 0 wide. Rooms have LCD or Plasma TVs with some as big as 60 one room has its own Wii. Freeview is standard and free Wi Fi is available anywhere in the house and parts of the 1.5 acre garden. There is comfortable seating in each bedroom a hospitality tray and a choice of duvet or blankets/sheets. Each room has a mini bar with beer wine soft drinks water and chocolates. M6 Toll road Junction T4 - Road: From M6 Toll Road - Junction T4 At junction T4 join the A5 going west (sign posted Brownhills) At the first roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted A5 Brownhills. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Lichfield (A5127). At the next roundabout just past the railway bridge take the 2nd exit (A51) sign posted Stafford. Stay on the A51 for about 4 miles until you see the sign B5013 for Abbots Bromley. At this roundabout take the 3rd exit and follow the signs for Abbots Br br/ br/ M6 Junction 12 - Road: From M6 junction 12 At Junction 12 take the A5 to Cannock. At the A34 turn left onto A460 to Rugeley. In Rugeley at the roundabout with A51 take the second exit onto B5013 towards Uttoxeter Continue for 2 miles turn right into Colton we are the three storey Georgian house half a mile along on the right. br/ br/ M1 Junction 24 - Road: From M1 - Junction 24 At Junction 24 take the A50 to Uttoxeter then A518 for 2 miles Turn onto B5013 towards Rugeley after 8 miles Turn left into Colton we are the three storey Georgian house half a mile along on the right. br/ br/ Rugeley Trent Valley - Train: There is a west coast line train station (Rugeley Trent Valley) just a mile from our home. br/ br/ Stafford - Train: Stafford station is probly the largest nearby train station on the west coast line with frequent trains. From here one can either catch a local train to Rugeley Trent valley and then a taxi for the last mile to our house. OR a taxi for the 10 miles from Stafford station.
