Double-Gate Farm B&B is ideally situated for exploring the South West in a pleasant position on the Somerset Levels by the River Sheppey with views across open countryside to the Mendip Hills. br / br / After a comfortable nights sleep begin your day with one of our scrumptious breakfasts in our Garden Dining Room. Stunning 180 deg views of the garden house and meadows. Our menu has a lot to choose from: traditional farmhouse breakfast pancakes smoked kippers - all in all there are a dozen different breakfasts to suit most dietary requirements plus a breakfast bar of cereals yogurts compots cheese fresh fruit and juices. In the summer ceiling fans ensure you keep cool on the hottest of days. In winter we run a Winter Warmer special: breakfast by candlelight when the starter menu also includes creamy porridge. Our Tea Rooms are also run from here - delicious home baked goodies and beverages. br / br / All ground floor areas in the Farmhouse are accessible by wheelchair and the Master en-suite is on the first floor. br / br / Our Riverside Rooms are all ground floor and extra large with patio facing south over the river ceiling fans refrigeration and super big wet rooms. Cosy for couples adaptable for accessibility and spacious & flexible for families and groups. br / br / Additional cottage style en-suite rooms are based in Swallow Barn: cosy doubles and a ground floor twin. br / br / The Guest Lounge and Games Room are in the Farmhouse. The Games Room has a full size snooker table table tennis darts shove ha penny garden games puzzles board games plus a wealth of up to date local information freely available. Free WiFi available throughout. br / br / Swallow Barn (M3 accessible) also available for self-catering. You have the cottage to yourselves - inglenook fireplace with log burner kitchen and dining room.
