The Caledon is a family run bed and breakfast in Cowes on the beautiful Isle of Wight. We offer modern comfortable accommodation tasty filling breakfasts and friendly service. Please be aware that a ferry will be required for transportation for guests visiting Southampton. Our lovely old guest house has a modern feel with original floorboards high ceilings and lots of Victorian features. All our bedrooms are recently refurbished in our modern relaxed style we want you to feel at home here. The B&B is in a great location five minute walk up the hill from the bustling centre of Cowes with its pretty high street with individual shops great restaurants lively pubs ferry links to Southampton and of course the yacht haven sailing clubs and marinas for which Cowes is so well known. We pride ourselves on our warm welcome and fab Caledon breakfasts all freshly cooked to order using our wonderful Isle of Wight produce wherever possible. There is free 17Mb broadband Wi-Fi throughout the B&B and we have a laptop for public use in our guest lounge.

Red Jet Terminal Cowes - Road: Once in Cowes come out of the ferry terminal onto the High Street and turn left. Walk all the way up the high street past Beckford Road until you reach the Police Station on your right and The Duke of York pub in front of you. Turn right up Mill Hill Road and we are number 59 on the right hand side. This walk will take 5-10 minutes. It s uphill so if you have heavy luggage you may want to hop in a taxi at the Terminal usually about £3. East Cowes Ferry terminal - Road: Once in East Cowes you need to cross the River Medina to Cowes. Either take your car on the Chain Ferry (Directions to Chain Ferry) known as the Floating Bridge for £1.50 which runs continuous crossings throughout the day (05:05 - 00:20) or drive to Cowes via Newport which takes about 20 minutes.
