We feel it has kept its original character as a traditional Scottish Hotel but with all the modern amenities you would expect. br / br / br / br / We like to pride ourselves on offering personal attention in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. With Loch Ailort and Loch Eilt both a stone s throw away plus the rugged hills of Moidart nearby. Directions to Lochailort Inn Fort William

Fort William - Road: From the south east or north of Scotland. Make your way to Fort William by the A82 just north of Fort William take the A830 signposted Mallaig. The Lochailort Inn is on the left in the small village of Lochailort 25 miles (40km) west along the A830. br/ br/ Skye or Mallaig - Road: From Skye or Mallaig: Take the A830 south towards Fort William for 18 miles (29km) and you ll see the Inn on the right just beyond the junction with the A861 road. br/ br/ Moidart - Road: From Moidart (Mull Strontian or Ardnamurchan): From Salen take the A861 north for 21 miles (34km) (going via Acharacle) and turn right at the A830 junction the Inn is immediately on the right.
