Ideally located in Portree on the beautiful Isle of Skye quietly situated amongst the trees of the amazing ScorryBrec Circular walkis Conusg Bed and Breakfast. There are miles of open hillside and shoreline to explore right from our front door yet we are just a few minutes stroll into town for all that Portree has to offer. Built in 1883 as the Coach House and Stables of what is now the prestigious Cuillin Hills Hotel the property was converted into a lovely family home in the 1960s and re-named Conusg the Gaelic word for the Broom flower. This is still a family home but we also now offer a range of spacious and airy bed and breakfast rooms that can accommodate 5 people in a King-size Double Bedroom a Twin-Bedded Room and a Single Room at prices starting from £30 per person.

Directions to Conusg Portree

Arriving at Portree from the south on the A87 stay straight ahead ignoring signs for Dunvegan Town Centre and Car Parks. Follow the A855 marked STAFFIN. Follow this road uphill above the Harbour: past the Bosville Hotel. At the end of Bosville Terrace go round the sharp left-hand bend. Just ahead you will see a large sign for the Cuillin Hills Hotel. Drop down that road keep going over a little bridge - the shore is directly beside you on your right with a Waterfall on your left. A few metres further along there is a sharp steep left turn: change down a gear and up you go! Keep going up: you will pass the EXIT area of the Hotel and in front of you is a road sign saying Coolin Hills Estate. Keep going uphill - then Conusg appears like magic from behind the trees on your left.
