We have our executive suite complete with king size bed relaxation area sumptuous roll top bath and a separate shower which is perfect for your special occasions. br / br / br / br / All rooms have complimentary tea & coffee ironing boards and hair-dryers. br / br / br / br / The pub itself does get very busy and so we would always recommend calling to book a table if you wish to dine with us. br / br / We also have good wifi connection in the pub br / br / br / br / The Great Northern is situated on the edge of Mickleover with easy access to a host of local attractions such as Carsington Water Ashbourne Alton Towers and not too far from the Peak District. Only a ten minute drive from the city centre where you can find the recently improved West Field shopping centre

Coming from the north on the A38 follow A38 to jun - Road: Coming from the north on the A38 follow A38 to junction with A52 at Markeaton Island turn right towards Ashbourne after about 11/4 miles turn left into Radbourne Lane travel about 3/4 mile and turn left into B5020 Station Road towards Mickleover after about 500 yards the Great Northern is on the left hand side. br/ br/ Coming from the south on A38 take A516 - Road: Coming from the south on A38 take A516 turn off signed to Royal Derby Hospital after traffic lights take 3rd exit and pass the front of the hospital onto A5020 Uttoxeter Road towards Mickleover after about 11/2 miles at the roundabout next to Tesco turn right onto B5020 Station Road travel about 11/2 miles and you will find the Great Northern on your right.
