There is good access to both North and South Devon. br / br / br / br / Two miles from Fernside along attractive country roads is the North Devon link road leading to the north coast with spectacular sandy beaches perfect for bathing and surfing. 19 miles to the south is the Cathedral city of Exeter with its international airport. Directions to Fernside Cottage Tiverton

Tiverton - Road: Take the Rackenford Road (B3221) out of town proceed for 2 miles passing the Rose and Crown pub on the right hand side and on entering Lurley take the next left signposted to Templeton. Continue along the road following signs to Templeton and then Templeton Bridge for about 3 miles. At Templeton Bridge continue straight up the hill towards Witheridge and the entrance to Fernside is about 0.2 miles after going after the bridge on the right hand side.
