We are surrounded by excellent country pubs/restaurants the closest being The Full Moon at Rudge (1 mile) and the Foresters in Beckington (3 miles) and the award winning White Row Farm Shop Cafe & Restaurant serving excellent breakfasts lunches and dinners. For cyclists we are situated on the wonderful Wiltshire Cycling Way. For discount shopping Clarke s Shopping Village Street is 29 miles by car. For business users there are regular trains to London & Bristol from Westbury (4 miles) & Bath Stations. Little Acorn has 1 double bedroom & 1 twin bedroom a separate a sitting/dining room a well equipped kitchen a large shower room with power shower a pretty private garden which is perfect for al fresco dining & secure parking for 2 vehicles. The double bedroom has a TV & DVD Player the sitting room has flat screen TV with Freeview. Cleaning bed linen towels and tea towels are all included in the price. We are 13 miles from the centre of the City of Bath. From the A36 Bath/Warminster Road simply follow the brown tourist board signs to BROKERSWOOD COUNTRY PARK. Turn off the A36 onto Rudge Lane at The Bell Inn Public House (Painted Blue). Continue for approximately 1 mile until you reach The Full Moon Public House where you turn right before the pub in to Brokerswood Road. Continue about another mile passing The Kicking Donkey Public House on your left. At the next crossroads (Tin Church on your right) turn left in to Silver St Lane (shown as Fairwood Road on Google Maps & signposted Overcourt Farm & Norris HIll Farm) WOODLAND VIEW FARM is the first house on your left. Ignore the 5 bar gate and continue past the cream painted house. The next set of tall double wooden gates lead to THE LITTLE ACORN. The gates open outward in to the lane. Opening 1 gate will be wide enough for you to park your car.
