A traditional English Coaching Inn situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park with an excellent restaurant serving home-cooked locally sourced food to compliment the award-winning ales from Fullers Brewery. We have 2 resident chefs preparing food for our menu and childrens menu. There is ample free parking with space for motor home stopovers. In the summer you can enjoy our pretty secluded garden and in the winter our lovely log fires. br / br / br / br / There are many lovely walks accessed from the Three Horseshoes and walkers and cyclists are always welcome. The Inn is 2 miles from the market town of Alton which has its own steam railway The Watercress Line. br / br / br / br / Jane Austen s house is 3 miles away in the picturesque village of Chawton and Gilbert White s House is in the nearby village of Selbourne. br / br / br / br / This family run business aims to provide a relaxed break in a rural setting where you can be assured of personal and friendly service.

Directions to The Three Horseshoes Alton

London - Road: Leave Central London on A3 signposted Guildford. At Guildford take A31 signposted Winchester. Continue on A31 for 16 miles. Leave A31 and follow signs for Alton. Follow signs for Bordon Kingsley on B3004. The Three Horsehoes is situated on B3004 at East Worldham br/ br/ London - Train: There are direct trains from Waterloo to Alton throughout the day. Then either catch a No13 bus (Destination Liphook) and alight at East Worldham outside The Three Horseshoes or take a cab from the station to pub. Taxi ride should not take longer than 5 mins - distance 2 miles br/ br/ Portsmouth - Road: Take A3 northbound out of Portsmouth signposted Petersfield and London. After 22 miles take turning to Selbourne on B3006. Continue on B3006 for 6 miles following signs for Worldhams. Pub is situated on crossroads with Blanket Steet and Cakers Lane.
