Blarcreen is a Victorian granite farmhouse in the historic Ardchattan estate on the shores of Loch Etive some 12 miles north of Oban. Offering 5 star luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in a traditional setting in green fields overlooking the loch sheltered by the hills which rise steeply behind Blarcreen is the perfect place to get away from it all yet within easy reach of Oban and Glencoe. br / br / You will receive a warm welcome and we will do all we can to make your stay special starting with tea and home made cake when you arrive. We are a licensed guest house so you can relax by the peat fire in the sitting room with a whisky or enjoy a glass of wine in the garden immersed in the tranquility of the long summer evenings. Walk along the shore up into the hills or through the oak woods. Keep your eyes open and you may spot red deer pine martens otters seals and sea eagles. br / br / Our three bedrooms offer beautiful views of Loch Etive and the surrounding hills. Directions to Blarcreen House Oban

Oban - Road: Head north from Oban on A85. At Connel turn right onto A828 and go over metal suspension bridge. Once over bridge turn first right signposted Bonawe. Continue on this single track road alongside the north shore of the loch for exactly 6.7 miles and you will arrive at Blarcreen on the right. Please note that if using a Satnav the post code is likely to take you to the wrong house! br/ br/ Fort William - Road: Take A828 south from Fort William. At Barcaldine turn left onto B845 signed Bonawe and drive along this single track road for 6 miles. At the end of the road turn left and follow sign 1/2 mile to Blarcreen . You will arrive at Blarcreen on right. Please note that if using a Satnav the postcode is likely to take you to the wrong house.
