Snaith is one of most westerly towns of the East Riding of Yorkshire and being close to The Pennine Way is popular with cyclists and walkers alike. br / br / br / br / There are 15 walks known as The Heritage Walks ranging from 1.50 miles to 8.75 miles some suitable for disabled persons in wheelchairs. Our accommodation block is in a Mews Type Cottages setting and positioned away from the main Building. br / br / br / br / The Pub was built circa 1800 and had one of the first female landladies of the time on the first floor which had many uses over the years was once the local courthouse also across the road is the Penny cells a Lock-up for people who had too much to drink etc which is still standing (but not used) the Licensee now is Siobhan the bar manager her mother and the chef her father so it really is a family run business. br / br / br / br / As well as traditional home cooked pub food and a Carvery on Sunday we also have an Indian restaurant on the first floor with our Indian Chefs preparing some fantastic Indian cuisine.

M62 East - Road: Take junction 34 off the motorway takethe second exit off the roundabout A19 towards Selby at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit A645 towrds Snaith after approximately 5.3 miles the entrance to our car park is on Pontefract road just after the Gulf petrol station on the left with green signage. br/ br/ M62 West - Road: Take junction 36 off the motorway take the 4th exit off the roundabout A614 towards Rawcliffe go through 2 roundbouts at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit A1041 after 1.9 miles at the next roundabout take the 1st exit after 250 metres the entrance to our car park is on the right just after the Zebra crossing . br/ br/ M18 East & West - Road: Take junction 6 exit off the motorway signposted Thorne. (West) take the 5th exit A614 Selby Road (East) take the 2nd exit A614 Selby Road. After 4.9 miles take the 1st exit off the roundabout A1041 after 1.9 miles take the first exit off the roundabout after 250 metres the entrance to our car park is on the right just after the Zebra crossing br/ br/ Selby - Train: We are only 7.5 miles from Selby Train Station there is a taxi rank outside although there is a Train station in Snaith there are only two trains per day and is quite difficult getting connections to get here. There is also a regular bus service to Snaith.
