You will be welcomed with a relaxed and homely atmosphere at Lea House the perfect place to stay . A 16th Century former coaching inn it has been beautifully refurbished but still retains many original features including exposed beams (apparently recycled from Armada ships!) an inglenook fireplace antiques and imaginative décor. Sophies breakfasts are a real treat all the breads marmalade and jams are homemade as are the vegetarian options that are always available. Our local butcher makes the sausages and cures his bacon and the smoked fish comes down from Fleetwood each week. The spacious bedrooms have kingsize or twin beds en suite or private bathrooms all thoughtfully equipped with many extras and toiletries and fluffy towels. All have flat-screen digital tvs a full hospitality tray and free Wi-Fi. There is a pretty walled garden for guests use and we have good bike storage. Dogs are welcomed in a dog-friendly environment.

Lea Ross On Wye Herefordshire HR9 7JZ Set in the small village of Lea 4 miles from the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye and a short drive from the Cathedral cities of Gloucester and Hereford Lea House is ideally situated for enjoying many local beauty spots. It is within sight of the Royal Forest of Dean and adjacent to the spectacular Wye Valley in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. SAT-NAV will take you 200yds up Rock Lane. Turn around and retrace your steps through the traffic lights. Lea House is on the Left and the car park entrance is on the far side. FROM LONDON Take M4 to Swindon and come off at Exit 15. Take A419 signed Cirencester and then A417 towards Gloucester. Cross M5 and remain on Gloucester by-pass by following signs A40 ROSS-ON-WYE. FROM GLOUCESTER - 10 miles Take A40 ROSS-ON-WYE and continue for approx 10 miles into village of LEA. Lea House is by the traffic lights on the right-hand side of the road.
