Wheal Rodney is a family run holiday park that caters mainly for families but welcomes everyone. We are also a dog friendly site but we do strictly limit numbers so book early to avoid disappointment. Open all year round you can enjoy everything this beautiful part of the world has to offer in every season. We have ten delightful self-contained purpose built holiday lodges on site. These come fully equipped with everything you would expect and more. These holiday lodges are available all year round. The Wheal Rodney site is hidden away down a country lane and is surrounded by fields but despite its quietness it is still conveniently located to stroll into Marazion town or walk cycle or drive just 3.5 miles to Penzance. Within walking distance of Wheal Rodney Holiday Park are St. Michael s Mount and the beautiful beaches of Marazion. The town offers lots of seaside amenities with a choice of pubs cafes and gift shops. There is a charge of £5 per pet per day this is only applicable on confirmation with the hotel directly. As well as receiving free WIFI in your lodges one of the highlights of staying at Wheal Rodney Holiday Park is having possibly the warmest swimming pool in the region on your door step! The pool is open daily from 9am to 7.30pm all year round. Our standard holiday tariff includes free entry to guests staying on the site so feel free to swim as many times as you like.

Directions to Wheal Rodney Holiday Park Marazion

Car: Please note: Satellite Navigational Systems are brilliant things but don t always bring you directly to us and can often try and send you to Wheal Rodney Nurseries which is on the other side of the bypass! This involves farm yards etc. so please do use them to bring you to the general area but note that we are reached by a normal tarmacked road and you should not leave the road! It is straight forward to reach us by following these directions: From the A30: At the main road village of Crowlas pass the Star Inn (on your right) and then take a left at the crossroads (signposted Rospeath) and travel for 1.5 miles along the winding country lane without turning off. You will pass under the bypass bridge and then bear sharp left around the corner and start coming up hill to Marazion we are just up the road on the right hand side. From Penzance side of Marazion: With St. Michael s Mount & the sea on your right travel up through the main street until you reach The Fire Engine Inn then turn left up Shop Hill. Go for 500 yards straight out into the countryside without turning off. We are on the left. From Helston road to Marazion: Take the first exit off roundabout to Marazion pass The Mount Haven hotel on the left then indicate right to take the tight turn up Shop Hill (directly opposite The Fire Engine Inn) then go for 500 yards straight out into the countryside without turning off. We are on the left Train/Bus: When you get off at Penzance train station there is a bus station just a few hundred yards away. First buses= 2 and 2A these are regular throughout the day. Ask to go to Marazion. Get off the bus near the Fire Engine Inn pub. Turn up the hill opposite this pub. This is called Shop Hill. Walk up the hill and keep walking. Go past the play park and the doctors surgery and you will see a lane. Walk 500 yards down this lane and turn left at Wheal Rodney. Western Greyhound bus: 515 is the number you would need to catch. This bus stops right outside of Wheal Rodney however this bus only does this trip three times a day.
