Co-owners Tristan McEwen and Paul Edwards each have over 20 years of experience under their belts in the Pub Restaurant and Hotel Industry including backgrounds in the br / br / 5 star hotel industry in London. Before they took on their new adventure of The Pykkerell both were running the Marco Pierre White Group of hotels and Inns. br / br / br / br / The Pykkerell is run by Tristan and Paul with a great team of staff who are friendly and welcoming. They have recently added a new aquisition to their portfolio which is The Crown Inn at East Rudham Norfolk. br / br / br / br / All our food is locally sourced whenever possible. We can cater for private parties including christenings engagement parties wedding receptions wakes and special events. br / br / br / br / We cater for all tastes and dietary requirements using fresh ingredients from some of the best known local suppliers in the area. Our special s menu changes regularly so we can use the best products when in season. We also offer homemade desserts and a great menu for the children too with a Percy Pykkerell for them to colour in to keep them occupied! br / br / br / br / We offer a fantastic selection of local ales brewed just down the road by Greene King IPA Golden and Speckled Hen and Abbot Ale being the most popular. br / br / br / br / The Pykkerell offers a selection of 5 luxury en-suite bedrooms and are perfect for a stay to visit this beautiful area of Suffolk and Bury St Edmunds. Directions to The Pykkerell Inn Ixworth

Approaching Bury St Edmunds via the A14 at Junction 43 take the A134 Exit. At the roundabout take the first exit on to Compiegne Way (A134). Just before you reach Ixworth turn left onto Bury Road and then continue onto High Street. The Hotel is just a short distance ahead on the right.
