With four new luxury Pods set in nine magical acres of lakes and woodland Trecombe offers plenty for those who love the outdoors and the ambience of camping but still appreciate a measure of comfort and convenience. Unlike other Pods ours have been designed to fit a neat little kitchen with electric hob sink and fridge a toilet and shower room and one double and two single beds (a travel cot can also be accommodated at a small cost). Great mattresses lovely bed linen bathroom towels and kitchen equipment are all provided for. Made from highly insulated and sustainable material with double glazed windows and a small electric heater our Pods are designed to be warm and cosy in the winter while keeping temperatures in check in the summer. A large decked area with picnic table outdoor beanbags a Webber BBQ and your very own fire pit (where open fires and toasting marshmallow are obligatory!) ensures you have everything you may need for the perfect stay. A woodland play area with an upturned boat climbing wall tree house nets and rope swings should help keep the younger (and even the older) ones busy. For peace of mind the woodland play area and pods are fenced off from the lakes and are only accessible through a wooden gate. Our new lodge house provides a small communal area with a washing machine and tumble dryer a TV link to our barn owl bat and bird box cameras as well as books games and general information that all our guests are welcome to enjoy. Trecombe Lakes are located in a quiet and peaceful spot just five miles from the historic and vibrant town of Falmouth with its stunning beaches quirky shops and great restaurants. Close by is the beautiful Helford river boasting ancient woodlands hidden beaches quaint pubs and the renowned valley gardens of Glendurgan and Trebah. Further afield are St Michael s Mount The Eden Project and the surfing beaches of the North Coast. Trecombe Lakes really is a unique place to stay and ideally positioned to explore all of the great things that Cornwall has to offer. - Each Pod sleeps 4 adults (an extra child can be accommodated in a travel cot or small camp bed for an extra £10 per night) - 9 acres of lakes and woodland - Adventure play area - Communal building with washing machine and tumble dryer - Row boats - TV link to bird boxes - Firepits - BBQ s - Row boat - Cornish cream Tea s Breakfast Hampers and BBQ packs are available to order and delivered to your door. Directions to Trecombe Lakes Falmouth

From Truro take the A39 and follow signs to Falmouth for approximately 8 miles At Treluswell double roundabout continue forward onto the A39 signposted Falmouth Keep following the A39 to Falmouth taking the second exit (straight over) at the ASDA roundabout and continue up the hill. At the Hillhead roundabout (you can t miss it as it has a very large anchor on it!) take the second exit following brown signs to Glendurgan and Trebah gardens Take the next right at Union Corner mini roundabout to Mawnan Smith Constantine and Gweek Take the next left and continue on this road for approx 2 mile passing through North Helford 40 mile Zone signs Take the next left signposted Constantine and Port Navas and continue on this road for a mile or so passing Bosvathick riding stables on your right. Shortly after the riding stables take the next left at High Cross garage triangle (be careful not to miss it) and follow the road for half a mile until you will reach Trecombe Lakes on your left. The Pods are visible from the road. Arrival time from 3pm onwards. As we do not live on site it would be most helpful if you could let us know what time you might be arriving so we can be there to welcome you and hand over the keys.
