The Golden Hind family run Bed & Breakfast with high quality comfortable accommodation and facilities. We are perfectly situated near to the train and bus stations with free car parking on the premises for all rooms (very valuable in a town where parking can be difficult) and within a very short walk from St Ives shops art galleries restaurants bars and the picturesque harbour. Views from the Golden Hind sweep across the harbour and include two of the town s five fabulous beaches. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities the double and top floor single rooms enjoy fabulous sea views with the exception of single room 3 while also being equipped with a refreshment tray multi channel colour television & radio refrigerator hairdryer. Rooms are arranged on three floors with a double bedroom on the ground floor the premier double on the first floor and single room 3 then a double bedroom and a single bedroom on the second floor. Breakfast room is on the ground floor. Where WIFI is available.

Directions to Golden Hind St Ives

You ll find the Golden Hind on the elevated section of The Terrace less than 250 metres from the town and shops. If arriving by coach or bus you need simply to cross the road from the Ace Cars office (next to the bus station) where there is a short flight of granite steps or you can walk past the Ace Cars office along to the Catholic Church and cross the road there before joining The Terrace on your left. For people arriving by train walk from the train station up to the bus station and then follow the instructions above. Guests arriving by car should drive into St Ives then at the St Ives Harbour Harbour Hotel take the left fork into Albert Road. Where the road makes a sharp left turn continue ahead and then in a very short distance turn right. Halfway down this road turn left into the service access for The Terrace and the Golden Hind s free car parking area is the second open parking area on your right.
