Porth Cottage is a charming and intimate 18th century cottage dating back to around 1700. It was originally built of cob and over the centuries has been home to many a local fisherman and his family. It has been refurbished with all the modern essentials whilst still oozing with charm and character from a bygone era with its low oak-beamed ceilings and other traditional features. Situated just 100 yards from Porth beach and adjacent to the grounds of Porth Veor Manor through which there is also a private footpath with direct access to the sandy beach Porth Cottage makes an ideal base and accommodates up to 4 persons.

BY ROAD Follow the A30 past Exeter and Bodmin and after approximately 10 miles leave at junction marked Newquay and Airport. Take 3rd exit off roundabout signed Newquay Wadebridge and Airport. Proceed along dual carriageway to the next roundabout ant take the A392 signed Newquay. Proceed about 4 miles and at Quintrell Downs roundabout turn right towards Newquay and Porth on A3058. Proceed for about 3 miles and at mini-roundabout turn right to Porth on the B3276. Porth Veor Manor is half a mile on the left. BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT The nearest rail/coach stations are in Newquay about 1.5 miles from Porth. Newquay airport is just 4 miles from Porth.
