Our properties are situated on the edge of the beautiful Somerset Levels where they combine peace and tranquillity with the convenience of being easy walking distance to Langport with its pubs restaurants and shops. Ideal for weekly mid-week or weekend stays for families couples on a romantic holiday or special interests such as walking bird watching fishing and visiting the many national trust houses and historic monuments nearby. The ancient beauty and diverse wildlife of the area makes it one of the landscapes that have inspired many artists and photographers as well as drawing visitors from all over the world. The ancient Muchelney Abbey is less than 2 miles from Huish Episcopi and Glastonbury Tor is only 12 miles away. br / br / The cottages were built in the early 1800 s these blue lias stone cottages would have originally been thatched and Withy House was built in 1898 in the style of a Victorian Villa. All have been have been tastefully renovated with many original features restored we have decorated and furnished them as if we were to be living there ourselves and we believe that we have made a truly comfortable home from home using only the very best to ensure that your stay with us is a wonderful experience. br / br / br / br / 1 Withy Cottage - double and a twin room. br / br / br / br / 2 Withy Cottages - double and a twin with adult size bunk beds. br / br / br / br / Withy House - 2 king size 1 twin room and a double sofa bed in the dining room. br / br / br / br / Hotel quality bed linen with soft downy duvets and pillows. All have a cosy sitting room with open fires. Freesat / Smart TV Gas central heating a fully equipped kitchen. Outside there is a private sunny patio area with seating and a BBQ and garden. br / br / br / br / Willow Vintage Caravan in the lower garden of the cottages has a shower and toilet in the garden cabin. Willow is a 50 s girl with accurate era fittings and décor. She is a very rare model which we were lucky to find she is an all original girl lovingly cared for by the same family from new.

Directions to Withy Cottages Langport

London - Road: M3 A303 to Podimore roundabout where you take the 3rd exit onto A372 for 7.1 miles. As you enter Huish Episcopi there is a double bend followed by slight incline downwards shortly on the left you will see the orange sign for Mary Coombes Health & Beauty immediately before the sign turn left onto Knapps Lane and the cottages are at the end over the bridge. Parking is available behind the cottages. br/ br/ Bristol - Road: M5 junction 23 - Roundabout 1st exit onto A39 - Turn right onto Bath Road A39 after the motorway bridge turn left onto Bower Lane Left onto Westonzoyland Road A372 through Westonzoyland and Middlezoy. At the T junction turn right then left to Langport. At junction by garage turn left Roundabout turn right past church & Rose & Crown you will then see on the right an orange sign for Mary Coombes Health & Beauty turn right immediately after the sign onto Knapps Lane. Parking behind cottages. br/ br/ Exeter - Road: M5 junction 25 take A358 - At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto A358 at the traffic lights take slip road A378 to Langport. In Langport drive through centre past Tesco s to the roundabout where you turn right follow this road past the church and Rose & Crown (Eli s) pub you will then see on the right an orange sign for Mary Coombes Health & Beauty turn right immediately after the sign onto Knapps Lane and the cottages are at the end over the bridge. Parking is available behind the cottages.
