Shallowplough is a beautiful former steading in the small hamlet of Inverebrie in the heart of rural Aberdeenshire just outside Ellon 40 minutes from Dyce airport and 35 minutes from Aberdeen City. Our home is set in 6 acres of gardens that are frequently visited by Roe deer red squirrels and wild birds and is surrounded by woodland and farmland with a magnificent view of Bennachie. Whether you are visiting us on business or on holiday our location is perfect for walking cycling golfing or visiting nearby beaches nature reserves and historic castles and properties. We offer 2 good sized Double guest rooms with exclusive guest bathroom shared with one other room together with an exclusive guest dining room and large comfortable guest lounge to relax in with TV and DVD. Tea or coffee and home bakes are served on arrival and evening meals are available on request for a small additional charge. Luxurious robes complementary slippers and toiletries are provided in the guest rooms for your comfort. We also offer the use of the gym to our guests comprising of a treadmill cross trainer and sauna with power shower. Directions to Shallowplough Bed and Breakfast Ellon

From Aberdeen take A90 towards Ellon take 1st exit onto South Rd/A920 then second exit onto B9005 turn left onto Station Rd/B9005 continue until another right turn for Methlick/B9005 turn right at Drumwhindle sign take second left turn at a white cottage where there is a signpost for Shallowplough. Pass a large house on the right called the Brewery and Shallowplough B&B is approx 1/4 of a mile further up the lane on the right hand side behind some trees. (NOTE: Mains of Inverebrie B&B is also on the signpost but Shallowplough B&B is further up the lane.) If approaching Ellon from the Ythanbank side of town please note that your sat nav may attempt to take you left up an overgrown farm track instead take the next left turn after that track signposted Drumwhindle and then directions are as above.
