This two bedroomed cosy comfortable fully self contained loft apartment set over two floors is ideally situated near the town centre of Kendal on the banks of the river Kent with stunning views over the river and parkland to the 12th century Kendal castle. The apartment forms part of a stone built Victorian terrace and is within easy walking distance of the towns attractions shops pubs and restaurants and is 10 minute walk from the bus and railway stations. The apartment has a double and a twin bedroom ideal for families groups of friends or two couples. There is a comfortable lounge room with 42 LED Freesat TV and DVD player and free wi-fi. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen and dining area with seating for four. The modern bathroom comprises a bath and shower. All heating linen bath-towels and tea-towels are included. There is a free private parking space at the front of the terrace. The apartment is strictly no smoking. No pets allowed. The apartment is not suitable for children under six due to open stairwell. Please note this is a loft apartment with stair case so not suitable for those of limited mobility. Check in is from 2pm and checkout is 10am. Kendal provides easy access to the Lake District national park which is a mecca for fell walking climbing and cycling. The town of Kendal has an amazing array of attractions including Abbott Hall museum and art gallery the Quaker Tapestry museum the Kendal Parish church Kendal castle and Kendal museum of Lakeland life. There is a plethora of diverse restaurants and pubs. The town centre has an abundance of great shops and cafés and a weekly farmers market. Kendal is renowned for its annual street festival Mintfest and the Kendal Mountain Festival. The Kendal Brewery Arts Centre provides great entertainment in the form of cinema theatre and music as well as great food. Close to Kendal is the historical Levens Hall and the National Trust Sizergh Castle.

From J37 of the M6 follow A684 towards Kendal town centre. As you arrive on Castle street you will automatically pick up the one way system. This will turn you- right into Anne St-left into Wildman St- straight on over Stramongate Bridge (keep in left hand lane) - bearing left into New Road you will see small parking area ahead of you - pull up on the pavement ahead of you in front of Melrose Place building. The first parking space is allocated to 1 Lambrigg terrace. There is a lockable barrier with the number 1 on a sign marking the space. Entry to 1 Lambrigg Terrace is forward of the parking space til you are overlooking the river Kent. 1 Lambrigg Terrace is the first (White) door on the left.
