The Lakeside Guesthouse is an Edwardian house situated on the sea front directly opposite the boating lake with views which look out to the sea across Tees bay. We are conveniently situated on the sea front and only 5 minutes walking distance to the town centre and golf course a 10 minute walk from the bus and railway station. Middlesbrough is 5 miles away. There are 8 rooms in total 3 standard singles (shared shower and toilet) 2 single en suite rooms a twin en suite room and 2 double en suite rooms each with a 4 poster bed and a single bed they may also be used as a twin or family room both of which have fabulous views across the sea. We are in great location everything is within walking distance the beach golf course town centre railway and bus station. Free parking outside the property with parking permits provided with a refundable deposit of £10. There is a 3% charge for credit card payments. Please advise your time of arrival. It may be that it shows that we are fully booked on the web site please phone as we sometimes still have last minute availability.

Directions to The Lakeside Redcar

Approaching from the A 174 on the roundabout past Lazenby take the the A1042 signposted Redcar . Continue on that road until you reach the sea front Majuba Road still continuing along this road at the T junction on the left hand side is the boating lake and Tuned In. Directly opposite the boating lake is The Lakeside Guest House . Approaching from the A66 at Grangetown take the Trunk road signposted Redcar continue along this road until you reach the crossroads with a garage on the left and a petrol station on the right. Take the left turn you will eventually approach a T junction The Lakeside faces the T junction.
