This 18th Century Coaching Inn was originally built to provide food ale and shelter for travellers and coaches on the Old Edinburgh Road between Ireland and Edinburgh. The South (M6) - Gretna - Road: Leaving the M6 at Junction 22 (A75 - Dumfries/Stranraer) following signs for Dumfries and then Castle Douglas. Turn off onto the A713 The Ken Bridge Hotel is situated on your left just before the junction to New Galloway. br/ br/ The North (M77) - Glasgow - Road: Leave Glasgow on M77 signposted Kilmarnock Prestwick Airport. Continue on to the A77 and go through 4 roundabouts. At the fifth roundabout take the first exit on to the A713 signposted Castle Douglas and continue for 37 miles. The Ken Bridge Hotel is situated on your right at the junction to New Galloway.
