Set in the Peak district there are lots of walking areas and places to visit. We are close to places such as Chatsworth House and Carsington Water as well as a small drive to Alton Towers Theme Park. Without forgetting the Amazing Ashbourne Town Centre with market days held on Thursday and Saturday cobbled streets shops as well as being home to the Ashbourne Royal Shrovetide Football Game which is held in the early months of each year it truly is a spectacle not to be missed. br / br / We are also in prime location for the New Years Day tradition of the Mappleton Boat Race and Bridge Jump being just a few hundred yards away. br / br / br / br / The Okeover Arms is not just one of the best we believe it is the best!

Directions to The Okeover Arms Ashbourne

Ashbourne - Road: Head towards buxton following the A515 just out of the town centre there will be sign posts for thorpe or ilam take the turn then look for signposts for Mappleton/Okeover/Blore. We are on the road side and wont be hard to find should you follow the signs. br/ br/ Derby - Road: Head out of derby for the sign posts of Ashbourne then follow the A52 through into Ashbourne then look out for sign posts of Buxton A515 then immediately out of Ashbourne look for signs of Mappleton or Okeover if not then Thorpe or Ilam after turning off look out for Mappleton and follow the road until you reach us. br/ br/ Buxton - Road: Head out of buxton on the A515 towards Derby/Ashbourne before reaching ashbourne after around 15 miles on A515 look out fir signposts of Thorpe/Ilam/Okeover take a right turn at Tissington crossroads near Bluebell Inn at the next junction head again for Okeover infront of The Old Dog Inn the take next right turn down in to Okeover/Mappleton continue on that road until you see us on the road side across from the Okeover Park.
