The Crown was first licenced in 1697 and traded under the name the Crowne Inn. Over the years it traded under several names Crown Tavern Caroll s Crown Hotel the last named was probably a nickname as it was owned by a Mrs Helen Caroll. Also known as the most haunted of all the pubs in Poole. The building is grade 2 listed We are only 15 mins away from the train station and the ferry crossings to Cherbourg and Channel Islands Bournmouth airport is only 40 min drive. So perfect for commuting. Please be advised that we have stairs so this will not suit anyone with climbing difficuties.
