Glengorm Guest House is named after the famous Glengorm Castle also known as Castle Sorn a 19th-century country house on the Isle of Mull. The name means Blue Smoke. Glengorm Guest House offers high quality accommodation at a reasonable price. Each year we enjoy welcoming visitors from around the world who come to experience for themselves the magical dramatic beauty of Oban and the Argyll coast the ancient seat of the Kings of Scotland. Glengorm is a Victorian Town House built in 1880 and has large airy rooms which retain many of the original Victorian features. The house is very close to the Town Centre and many local amenities are close by. The Atlantis Leisure Centre The Corran HallsTennis Courts McCaigs Tower the Cathedral and local Cinema are all within easy walking distance. We are also conveniently situated for busestrains and ferries. Parking is available in the street and the pay and display car park at the end of the road which is free between 6pm and 9am. As you come down the hill in to Oban bay turn left at the roundabout at the Corran Halls for the town centre. We are located in the street after the roundabout the guest house is number 5 beside St Annes Guest House on the left hand side of the road. If entering from the south of the town stay on the main road and come straight through the town centre and along the waterfront turning up the hill at the Corran Halls take the first turning on the left at the small roundabout at the Corran Halls for the town centre we are located in this street after the roundabout.
