Close by is the ferry to the south sands and offers quick access to the local powerboat school fishing and diving trips boat hire estuary cruises the town quay for the launching of small craft and meeting friends on boats cliff walks and bird watching. For children there is also the opportunity for crabbing paddling on the slipway sailing classes at the Island Cruising Club greasy pole and spot the bloomer in Regatta week and the freedom to do so much independently.

Directions to Ferry View Salcombe

From Salcombe follow A381 to Sandhills Road towards the B3204 Bennett Road. After 0.9 mile keep right to stay on B3204 leading in to Fore Street. The last intersection is with Harbour Road. If you reach Cliff Road you have gone too far.
