Standing in lovely gardens Dunkery Beacon Country House is a former Edwardian hunting lodge and has seven luxuriously appointed and individually decorated en-suite rooms plus one with private facilities. One of the bedrooms we have is located on the ground floor so ideal for people with limited mobility plus we also designate 2 bedrooms as dog-friendly. Directions to Dunkery Beacon Country House Minehead

M5 heading South (Junction 25) - Road: Leave M5 at junction 25 for Taunton. Follow directions towards town. Follows signs for A358. Stay on A358 past Bishops Lydeard turn and take left onto B3224. Stay on B3224 across Brendon Hills and past Raleghs Cross Inn. After 2 miles fork right (just by small Methodist chapel) and follow B3224 to Wheddon Cross. At Wheddon Cross turn sharp right onto A396 and follow road to Timberscombe. Past Timberscombe take lane on left signposted to Wootton Courtenay br/ br/ M5 heading North (Junction 27) - Road: Leave M5 at J 27. Follow dual carriageway until Tiverton. Take 3rd exit to Bolham & Exmoor Roundabout at Exeter Inn take 1st exit to Exebridge. At Black Cat garage go straight across towards Dulverton & Exebridge At Exebridge go straight on to Wheddon Cross. Straight through Wheddon Cross to Timberscombe. Edge of Timberscombe turn left at Cowbridge to Wootton Courtenay. Carry along road for approx. 2 miles. Eventually you will go past Village shop on right. We are on right on next bend
