 The Black Bull is an old historic coaching Inn that with it s new refurbishment elegantly blends the old with the new. Dating back 400 years the Black Bull has a wonderful history that reads almost as a novel. Once serving as a hospital for Belgian refugees during WWI it has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment as it has become part of the reputable Illustrious Pub Company. The restaurant seats up to 60 people and has a great classic British menu that is all home cooked to high standards by an experienced brigade of chefs.It has a character bar with WIFI that is popular with locals and respected by CAMRA for having three well maintained ales.
