We are only 10 minutes walk from the north end of Windermere Lake which offers a variety of water sports and Lake Cruises and are less than a minutes walk to the many restaurants pubs shops and park offered by Ambleside. Directions to Claremont House Ambleside

From the south on A591 follow the one-way system into the town centre. As you find the putting green and church on your left follow the road as it bends left then right. Claremont House is on your left. From the north on A591 join the one-way system in the town centre. Immediately past the White Lion Hotel (on your left) turn right into Church Street. At the bottom turn right again. Follow the road as it bends right. Claremont House is on your left.
