The Old Church House Inn dates from the 13th Century. Our inn has a number of unique features including one of England s oldest bread ovens panelling retrieved from a ship of the Spanish Armada and 3 large log fires for cosy winter evenings. br / br / br / br / Our rooms are spacious and are newly refurbished with en-suite facilities and individual features reflecting our beautiful natural surroundings. Select from either generous double rooms or family rooms which have a double and single bed. One of our rooms is equipped for less mobile guests. br / br / We have an excellent restaurant serving local seasonal food at lunchtime and in the evening our meat and fish are locally sourced all our meat and eggs are free range. There is a lawned garden area for al fresco dining and drinking. Breakfasts are included in the room rate and consist of generous cooked options along with cereal fresh fruit and yoghurt br / br / The hotel also houses the village pub which is popular with village residents and guests. We serve a variety of local ales as well as wines and spirits. br / br / Despite the unique nature of our building and location we are within easy reach of Dartmoor south coast resorts and Exeter. We are a few miles from Newton Abbot and Totnes both of which have a range of shopping and dining facilities. There is free on site parking br / br / We can provide cots for babies- please let us know in advance. br / br / Please note: pets are not permitted in our hotel rooms br / br / Our opening hours are: 12pm-10.30pm Mon Fri 12pm-11pm Sat and 12pm-9pm Sun. Food is served every day from 12pm-2pm and 6pm-9pm (7pm on Sundays). Hotel check in is 4pm-9pm.
