The rear garden offers a well-kept space comprising a large lawn flower beds shrubs and trees offering guests the possibility of enjoying breakfast lunch or perhaps in the summer supper outdoors on the patio in a beautiful and peaceful setting. br / br / The Lions is centrally located and is an easy 10-minute walk from the town s market square and varied shopping facilities and a 15-minute walk or a short taxi-ride from both Newark North Gate and Newark Castle railway stations. London is 1 hr 20 minutes away by train while Lincoln and Nottingham can be reached in 30 minutes. There is a good local bus network covering nearby towns and villages. Newark lies close to the A1 A17 and A46 major through-routes and so has excellent road links. East Midlands International Airport is just over 30 miles away. From the imposing main entrance guests are welcomed into the hallway that boasts a restored flagstone floor.
