This is popular for walking holidays and people who walk to South West Coastal Path. It is also used by cyclists and dog walkers. The scenery from start to finish is simply stunning.

Directions to Wayfarer Inn Instow

Barnstaple - Bus: From the Train Station the Stagecoach Bus 21 stops on Instow Front and right by the bus stop is the Wayfarer Inn br/ br/ Barnstaple - Road: From Barnstaple Town Centre go up Sticklepath hill. At the roundabout take the second exit towards Fremington. Follow the road through Bickington Fremington and Yelland. When arriving in Instow turn right and follow the road along the front and turn left next to the Boathouse opposite the bus stop br/ br/ Bideford - Bus: On Bideford Quay take the 21 Bus to Instow Marine Parade Bus Stop. The Wayfarer Inn is opposite the bus stop br/ br/ Bideford - Road: Go over the old bridge in Bideford. At the end of the bridge take the first exit on the rounabout and follow the road until the next roundabout taking the first exit. Follow the road until you reach the 30mph zone which is Instow. Take the slip road down on the left after just entering the 30 mph zone. Follow the road along the front until reaching the boathouse and the bus stop and take the road on the left.
