Dating from the late 1800 s we form part of Narford Hall one of Norfolk s oldest Landed Estates with over 3000 acres 1500 acres of which is woodland and actively managed with the recently restored Parkland and Avenue. Red Lodge was named after a Virginia Creeper that covered the building turning a glorious ruby red in the Autumn sun. br / br / br / br / Whilst the Virginia Creeper may have been lost in the mists of time the history and tradition of Red Lodge continue. Narford Hall was built in 1702 and the family occupying Narford are the descendants of the original founder. br / br / br / br / Everyone here at Narford respects the history and tradition of the Landed Estate and at Red Lodge we offer you an experience of life the way it used to be relaxed connected to the natural world with food sourced locally and prepared according to traditional methods. br / br / br / br / Here we cure our own bacon we bake our own bread. The venison we give you for dinner will come from the fields and woodlands on the Estate. Your game pie is raised by hand with pheasant and goose shot on the Estate often by the current Encumbent. We even have our own flock of hens to provide your breakfast egg! br / br / br / br / We really take cooking back to its grass roots. south - Road: n We are really looking forward to seeing you but we are worried you might get lost. Our exclusive location is rather challenging and even if you ask the locals in Swaffham or in nearby Narborough they will swear there s no such place. But we really are here on the Narford Road which not only runs north to south but also rather confusingly east to west. It crosses itself as you can see from the map and your mobile signal may disappear just when you need it
