Originally built in 1850 Heath Cottage is a fine example of early Victorian architecture. The main building and original coaching house have been recently fully refurbished to the highest standards. As an independent family run hotel we offer you a home from home with comfortable accommodation delicious food and a friendly tranquil setting for business and pleasure. Our dedicated and attentive staff will ensure that your stay at Heath Cottage is as enjoyable as possible. Freshly cooked full English breakfast is served from 7 am to 9 am Monday to Friday and from 8 am to 10 am on Saturday and Sunday. DIRECTIONS FROM THE M1 (LONDON OR LEEDS) Exit Junction 40 head on the A638 to Dewsbury for 2 1/2 miles. We are on the right just before the traffic lights. London to Dewsbury - 190 miles 3 hours approx. DIRECTIONS FROM THE M62 (East Bound) Exit at junction 29 and join the M1. Follow the M1 south bound to Junction 40. Exit Junction 40 and follow the signs for Dewsbury. Take the dual carriageway to a round about (approx. 2miles) Come straight over at round about and continue down the road toward Dewsbury for approximately half a mile. Heath Cottage is on your right hand side just before the traffic lights. DIRECTIONS FROM LEEDS Head on the A653 to Dewsbury go straight across Tingley roundabout and carry on for approximately 3 miles then turn left at the Whistler Pub down Bywell Road. Turn left at the end of Bywell Road the hotel is 30 yards down on the left. DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH Down the A1 join the M62 at junction 33 head west until you join the M1 Motorway at Junction 29. At Junction 40 of the M1 turn off and follow signs for Dewsbury for approximately 2 1/2 miles and we are on your right hand side just before the traffic lights.
