Sitting in the Mid Wales hills in the parish of Llanbister and only a short drive away from Llandrindod Wells with its Spa and lake offering shops and great places to eat. The Royal Welsh shoe ground with its many events throughout the year is also close by. Offas Dkye can be reached on the drovers path that runs above the house at 1600 feet where you can see The Radnor Hills and Brecon Beacons br / br / There are two ponds with seating to enjoy the wildlife and birds each of which Is in abundance around the farm. You will also see cattle and sheep grazing in the fields that surround the property. And take long walks br / br / br / br / (Due to the ponds we can not accept children under 12 years of age) br / br / Cwmllechwedd fawr offers 3 guest rooms each with tea/coffee making facilities ironing facilities television with DVD players clock radios and many more quirky features. There are two guest lounges one in the great hall my the log burning fire and the second is a cosy snug on the first floor with views over looking the countryside. br / br / br / br / Breakfast is taken in the great hall where the resident Dragon (Fred) keeps an eye on events. br / br / Breakfast can also be taken on the veranda along with afternoon tea. From here you can enjoy the garden and views beyond. br / br / br / br / Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and a large selection of local books and maps can be found in the snug lounge on the first floor. Dvd s are available to watch in your room. br / br / Board games are available in the great hall. A locked cycle shed and washing facilities are available. br / br / br / br / A welcome tray awaits you with local produces fresh milk complimentary water biscuits and treats. Snacks can be purchased from the snack box with a honesty box. br / br / br / br / Light snacks are available on request and typically include omelettes choice of sandwiches and cakes.

Directions to Cwmllechwedd Fawr Llandrindod Wells

A483 - Road: Head for Llanbister village of the A483. Once in the village proceed up the hill and over the cattle grid. Go up the bank along the flat and then the steep down hill. On reaching the bottom of the hill you have a sharp right hand junction sign posted Llanbadarn Fyfydd. Take this junction. After 1/2 mile we are on the right hand side. You will go through a gate and then follow the track up to the house. Track unsuitable for low grounding vehicles.
