Julie Steve and Toby the jack Russell would like to welcome you to Melbourne Place. Our three storey house is situated in the old Weardale village of Wolsingham often referred to as the Gateway to the Dales . Wolsingham and its surrounding areas have much to offer all year round. Melbourne Place offers two spacious en suite rooms on the 2nd floor each accessed by their own private staircase leading from the 1st floor landing. On the ground floor there is a comfortable lounge with wood burning stove for those cold winter evenings accessed from here is our dining area described by one of our guests as being a little hidden gem it had a feel of Andalucía in the heart of the north east countryside For Alfresco dining or just watching the slow pace of life there is a south facing walled patio with a cottage garden feel with its planted borders and plentiful pots of highly scented flowers and shrubs. We hope that you will come to visit and enjoy a home away from home experience with us. We offer two luxury en-suite rooms which are situated on the second floor of the house and are accessed via their own private staircases at either end of the first floor landing. They are both equipped with Wi-Fi Satellite TV Hair-dryer complimentary teas and coffee. To help make your visit comfortable and homely we provide slippers for those guests who would like them and there is also a selection of complimentary toiletries. Our beds linen and towels are of a high quality to help to make your stay as luxurious as possible. Our duvets and pillows are all anti-allergenic. There is a large selection of books around the house which you are welcome to browse through during your stay with us. Pets are welcome upon request only
