Independently family-owned since October 2007 the lodge has been completely stripped down and totally refurbished. Now tastefully decorated to modern standards which was recognised by the English Tourist Authority with a 3-star Quality Award. In September 2010 it qualified for membership of the Bristish Quality Foundation. After further improvements the lodge has now been upgraded to 4-Star quality in March 2012. The Double bedroom has a standard 4 6 double bed.
