Holyhead Lodge is situated at the bottom of Maeshyfryd Road in Holyhead. It is very peaceful with little passing traffic. It has a private gated driveway that is monitored by CCTV 24/7 for your security this is because it has a lot of expensive track cars from the Anglesey Circuit Race Track that stay during the racing season. br / br / br / br / It is run by Pearl & Mel Smith and their family. They have been running it as a B&B for some five years and have gone from strength to strength. br / br / All the rooms are updated regularly and nothing is too much trouble for them. They will pick guests up off the late night ferry and drop you down the next morning to pick up your hire car or train. br / br / br / br / The two Lodge rooms 1 & 2 are situated off the driveway and have their own private entrances both are en-suite and have fridges and microwaves for your convenience. br / br / Room 3 is a small double and is on the ground floor of the main house this is again an en-suite room. br / br / The double beds have Hypnia Mattresses for a perfect nights sleep the singles have 9 inch thick orthopedics again for a great nights sleep. br / br / All sheets and pillowcases are 100 percent Egyptian cotton. br / br / All rooms have IPOD/IPHONE docking stations so you can charge your phone or listen to music. They also carry a stock of adapters for foreign guests should you forget yours. br / br / All rooms have flat screen TV s super fast WIFI and full drinks trays containing a variety of teas coffees chocolates etc for your perusal. br / br / They only use local suppliers for all there produce. Their honey comes off the Holyhead Mountain which is less than a mile away there sausage bacon and eggs is all produced locally on the island. br / br / In fact they serve varying spicy degrees of sausage from the very hot to the mild and various gluten free versions that can be pre booked in advance. br / br / br / br / The family also run Charter Boats so sightseeing/fishing trips in the evenings are very popular with guests during the summer months.

A55 - Road: At the end of the A55 roundabout take the Holborn Road turning (this is well signposted) follow the road past Travis Perkins and the Travelodge go around the bend by the Blossom Public House Carry on up the hill to the top and turn left at the top on to Maeshyfryd Road. Follow the road down to the end and into the dead end (Do not turn left on to Kings road) You will see Holyhead Lodge on the left hand side Its the big cream Victorian House. br/ br/ Ferry Terminal - Road: Come out of the terminal across the roundabout to the traffic lights and turn right at the lights. Stay in the left lane and turn left at the next set of lights get in the right hand lane go round the roundabout to the Holborn Road turning (this is well signposted) follow the road past Travis Perkins and the Travelodge go around the bend by the Blossom Public House carry on up the hill to the top and turn left on to Maeshyfryd Road. Follow into the dead end and we are 4th on the left. br/ br/ Railway Terminal - Air: Walk out of the platform by the clock tower walk up the road to the top and turn right. follow the road round to the Peican crossing cross over the main road and turn left walk down the road to Kingsland garage and turn right on to King road follow this to the top and then turn left on to Maeshyfyrd we are the 4th house on the left.
