There is an 18 hole golf course laid out alongside the river Dee. Cycle hire is available within the village and an option to have professional guided hill walks and fishing can be arranged if sufficient notice. br / br / br / br / We are animal lovers but do not permit pets within the lodge itself. A suitable lockable habitat can be provided for your pets if sufficient notice provided. br / br / br / br / Lovely flat walks around the river or for the more adventurist Craigendarroch hill opposite the lodge giving great views of Ballater and the river Dee. br / br / br / br / The Queens Scottish residence Balmoral castle Crathie church and a Whisky Distillery is approximately 6 miles away. Directions to Morven Lodge Ballater

Aberdeen Bus/Train Station - Bus: From the bus station in Aberdeen take the stagecoach 201 202 or 210 bus routes. Morven Lodge is a 5 minute walk up the main A93 towards Braemar from the bus station at the co-op in Ballater. br/ br/ Aberdeen - Road: From Aberdeen take the A93 road all the way out to Ballater. In Ballater turn right at the T-junction and carry on through the village towards Braemar. Go over the old railway bridge and Morven Lodge is on the corner of the next junction on your left. br/ br/ Perth - Road: From Perth follow the signs to Blairgowrie and Braemar to get to the A93. Follow the A93 through Blairgowrie over Glenshee then through Braemar and Crathie. Once in Ballater Morven Lodge is clearly visible on the right hand side of the road on the junction of Invercauld and Braemar Road.
